SOREZE
As the year draws to a close, we are taking part in the Tarn Cultural Events, which invite you to explore the transport routes that shape and tell the story of our region… As part of this, we are organising events from 19 to 30 October, including some unusual tours detailed below.

• Guided tour: ‘The journeys of a future pupil at Sorèze in the 18th century’ *
On foot, by carriage or by boat, imagine yourself in the 18th century, travelling along the roads to reach the Abbey School of Sorèze to receive a high-quality, rich and varied education.
> Tour scheduled daily from 19 to 23 October and from 26 to 30 October at 2.15 pm.
• Guided tour: ‘The Collections Along the Water’ (as part of the 30th anniversary of the Canal du Midi’s UNESCO designation) – Tour not accessible to visitors with reduced mobility [included in the museum admission ticket: General admission: €9 / Over 65s: €8 / Concessions: €7 / Family ticket (2 adults + 1 child aged 12–17): €18 / Children under 12: Free]
As you follow the water’s course, our guide invites you to discover our historical and artistic collections.
At the Cité de Sorèze, water flows through the entire site. Symbolically, through the artworks at the Dom Robert Museum and the décor and history of the Abbey School; and in reality, through its geographical location and its ancient hydraulic structures. This unique tour will allow you to wander through twelve centuries of history.

• Guided tour: ‘A stroll through Dom Robert’s tapestries’ *
You can even take a stroll through a tapestry! This was Dom Robert’s wish, and he still guides you today through his works, with his harmonious arrangement of shapes and colours…

• Guided tour: ‘Paths and encounters at Sorèze Abbey School’ *
Set off on a journey through time and let yourself be surprised by the encounters that lie in wait along the paths of Sorèze Abbey School. From the Palaeolithic era to the present day, discover the journeys of iconic figures who have passed through this unique place and left their mark on their era. At each stage, listen to their stories, share in their discoveries and experience the exchanges that have shaped history. An immersive guided tour, blending memory and curiosity, that turns every path into an adventure.
